Can I bless someone today?
Making small deposits into life’s cycle will open doors to unlimited resources.
I had a conversation with one of my “Incubator” clients and she talked about how she is finding it hard to stay above water financially during the holidays and how she does not know how she is going to manage even in the first quarter of 2010. With worry and fear in her voice, I can hear the words of wisdom pop out of what she was not saying. Her issue which is many of our issues, is giving more of our stuff, our time, our things, ourselves and eventually with all of the giving, we sometimes get mentally and physically exhausted. As the conversation, continued clarity began to show its face.
Giving should be tied to a request. You may not agree with me on this but here is what works for me. When I become a blessing and pay forward or give back, I feel as if I am making a deposit into life’s cycle. So when my children need something, resources show up, when my mother takes the trip to the doctor for a test result, good health shows up, when I am looking for a breakthrough for a client, answers show up, when I feel discouraged someone has a kind word for me to keep me going. Super natural resources will begin to show up without me, begging, pleading or worrying because I know I have made deposits into life’s cycle and I wake up with the notion that I will be a blessing to someone TODAY.
According to the Wikipedia, The expression “pay it forward” is used to describe the concept of asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done to others instead.
According to Corporate Mom Dropout Law 10, the expression “deposits in life’s cycle” is used to describe, the act of giving with the statement that you will be able to make a withdrawal eventually for something or someone.
As for my Incubator client, she was able to focus on what she was giving others and being deliberate on her acts of giving versus giving when she did not want to. This was a shift for her and three days later, she called me with a major client project and support with her children for the holidays. Remember you cannot give what you do not have. Give to yourself first, do what you can for others because you want to, because you love, because you have, give without the thought of lack for yourself, or without the pity of others.
Knowing that you are dealing with the universal bank, resources is limitless.
